WhatsApp via TextMeFlow (free on Starter+)

WhatsApp via TextMeFlow
TextMeFlow is our own WhatsApp + SMS API. For BedFlow customers on the Starter tier or higher, TextMeFlow Starter is included for free — no separate signup, no Stripe checkout, no API-key fiddling. One click on /account/billing activates it.
🎁 What you get 500 WhatsApp + SMS messages per month, from your own WhatsApp number. Anti-ban, GDPR-compliant, EU servers. Normal price: € 5/month — yours for € 0 as long as your BedFlow subscription is Starter or higher.
Why TextMeFlow?
We used to recommend TextMeBot ($ 6/month, external SaaS). That still works — BedFlow remains technically compatible with TextMeBot (same URL shape, drop-in replaceable). But TextMeFlow does exactly the same thing, runs on our own EU infrastructure, and is included free with your subscription.
| | TextMeFlow | TextMeBot | |---|---|---| | Price for BedFlow Starter+ | Free (included) | $ 6/m (billed separately) | | Hosting | EU (France) | Unknown | | GDPR + DPA | ✅ Officially via Fades Management EOOD | Not clearly documented | | Anti-ban (rate-limit + opt-in + risk-score) | ✅ Built-in | Best-effort, undocumented | | Setup time | One click from BedFlow | Own account + paste API key manually | | SLA | Best-effort 99% (Starter), 99.5% (Business) | No formal SLA | | Own number? | ✅ — persisted Baileys session | ✅ — similar approach |
Activate in one click
- Go to My account → Billing (
/account/billing) - Scroll to the amber block "🎁 TextMeFlow Starter — included free"
- Click "Activate my free TextMeFlow →"
- You'll be redirected to
api.textmeflow.euwhere:- A TextMeFlow account is created with your BedFlow email
- Plan
starteris granted withbundled_from=bedflow(no Stripe charge) - You're automatically logged in to the TextMeFlow portal
- In the portal, scan the QR code once with your WhatsApp Business app to link your number — exactly like WhatsApp Web
After this flow, find your API key under TextMeFlow → My portal → API key. Paste it into BedFlow via Settings → Integrations → WhatsApp → Provider: TextMeFlow and your outbound flow is live.
Free plan limits
| | Starter (free with BedFlow) | Pro (€ 15/m separate) | Business (€ 29/m separate) | |---|---|---|---| | Messages/month | 500 | 5,000 | 25,000 | | WhatsApp devices | 1 | 1 | 3 | | Anti-spam layer | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | | Inbound webhook | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ |
💡 For an average B&B, 500 messages/month is generous — roughly 50-100 bookings × (booking confirmation + pre-arrival + check-in instructions + post-stay review request). Hitting the limit? Upgrade to Pro (€ 15/m) directly inside TextMeFlow.
What happens on downgrade to Micro?
If your BedFlow subscription drops back to the Micro tier (where TextMeFlow is not a bundled feature), your TextMeFlow Starter automatically reverts to the Free tier (50 messages/month). Your account stays, your number stays paired, your API key keeps working — only the quota drops.
Want to keep sending unlimited? You can upgrade in TextMeFlow at any time to paid Starter (€ 5/m), Pro (€ 15/m) or Business (€ 29/m) — billed directly via Stripe on TextMeFlow's side, independent of your BedFlow subscription.
Keeping TextMeBot is fine too
Got a running TextMeBot subscription you don't want to switch from? You don't have to. Go to Settings → Integrations → WhatsApp and pick provider TextMeBot instead of TextMeFlow. Paste your TextMeBot API key and all outbound flows keep running unchanged. BedFlow's inbound webhook is provider-agnostic — replies find their way to /guest-inbox regardless of provider.
ℹ️ You don't get any TextMeFlow bundle cash-back if you stay on TextMeBot. The free Starter is opt-in via the activation button — use it or don't.
FAQ
Does my existing WhatsApp number work, or do I need a new one? Your own number works. TextMeFlow uses a persisted Baileys session (same technology as WhatsApp Web) — your number stays yours. WhatsApp doesn't flag this as bot/automation, but we recommend respecting the anti-spam best practices (no bulk, opt-in for marketing, no "blast 500 at once").
My BedFlow and TextMeFlow accounts share an email — is that a problem? No, on the contrary: the activation link explicitly uses your BedFlow email as the TextMeFlow account identifier. One login vector, one DPA path.
Can I link multiple properties / B&Bs? One TextMeFlow account per BedFlow account is the norm. For multi-property setups, you can paste a different API key per property in the provider setting — handy when each property has its own WhatsApp number.
What if the activation link has expired (10 min TTL)?
No problem — click the button again on /account/billing. Each click generates a fresh one-time token with a new 10-minute window.
Where's the provider toggle in BedFlow? Settings → Integrations → WhatsApp → Provider (dropdown). Default is TextMeBot for backwards-compat; switch to TextMeFlow once you've activated it.
