Connecting HRS to BedFlow

HRS is the business-travel channel for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). Particularly useful for city hotels and corporate hotels — less so for purely leisure accommodations. The flow is identical to Booking.com.

⚠️ Prerequisite: you already have an HRS Partner Center account with your property registered. Apply via partner.hrs.com.


What do you need?

Step 1 — Look up your Hotel ID

  1. Log in to partner.hrs.com.
  2. At the top of the page, next to your property name, you will see your Hotel ID (e.g. 850012345).
  3. Alternatively: go to Property → Property Information — the Hotel ID appears in the URL and at the top of the page.

Step 2 — Enter the ID in BedFlow

  1. Settings → Integrations → HRS tile → Settings.
  2. Paste the Hotel ID into "HRS Hotel ID".
  3. Click Save.
  4. Click "Connect in Channex" — an inline modal opens inside BedFlow with Channex's connection form.

Step 3 — Complete the Channex modal

The modal shows Channex's "Create Channel" wizard with 3 tabs:

Tab "General Settings"

  • Channel → choose "HRS"
  • Title → "HRS"
  • Currency → EUR
  • Click Save

Tab "Mapping" — mandatory

For each HRS room type (HRS has its own taxonomy) you choose which BedFlow rate plan is linked to it. A room type without a mapping will not be pushed to HRS. Not every HRS category needs to be linked — only those that correspond to what you offer.

Tab "Channel Settings"

Review and save.


Step 4 — Back in BedFlow

Click "Done — close and refresh status". BedFlow discovers the channel and activates it automatically via API. Status flips to "Request at HRS — awaiting acceptance".


Step 5 — HRS confirms

HRS sends you a confirmation email to the address linked to your Partner Center. Click the activation link and confirm in the portal — typically live within ~24 hours. After that, the status automatically flips to "Active".


Frequently asked questions

I see rooms in HRS's extranet that do not match my offering

These are HRS's own room templates from their database. We cannot delete them via Channex — HRS manages their own room taxonomy. Two options: correct them directly in HRS Partner Center, or email their support for a clean re-onboarding. In Channex's Mapping tab: leave the templates you do not offer set to "Not mapped".

What is the standard commission? ~15% (divisor 0.85). Lower than Booking because HRS targets business guests with longer stays.

Do I get HRS Business Tag listings? Yes, automatically. HRS will display your listing with a "Business Tag" if BedFlow's room metadata indicates that the room is suitable for business guests (WiFi, workspace, …).

My property is not a typical corporate hotel — does this make sense? It depends on your location. In DACH cities, every hotel with good reviews receives business bookings via HRS. In rural regions: less relevant.
