AI discoverability (AIEO) & llms.txt

Guests increasingly search via AI assistants ("where can I find a B&B with a jacuzzi near Ghent, with room next weekend?"). That's why BedFlow does AIEO — AI Engine Optimization — on top of SEO: every active property automatically gets an llms.txt profile, the emerging standard file that lets AI search engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude) understand a site without crawling all of it.

What's in it?

Only facts from your own property data: name, location, facilities (from your mini-site), rooms with capacity, contact details and your direct booking link — plus a live availability summary for the next 8 weeks, compressed into date ranges. So an AI assistant can not only say you exist, but also when there's still room. The summary refreshes every 30 minutes.

Where is it?

  • Always: https://bedflow.eu/llms/{your-property-slug}.txt
  • On your own mini-site domain automatically as https://yourdomain.com/llms.txt — together with an AI-friendly robots.txt pointing to it.

Own website (no mini-site)?

Running your own website outside BedFlow? Have your web builder proxy /llms.txt to your BedFlow profile — then your own site stays permanently up to date for AI assistants too. Ask support; it's one line of server configuration.

What you can do yourself

The profile gets better as your property data gets more complete: fill in your SEO description, facilities and room info on the My website page. Use recognisable search terms (e.g. "private wellness", "15 minutes from Ghent") — exactly the words guests use when asking an AI assistant.
