Connecting Weekendesk to BedFlow

Weekendesk is a BE/NL/FR specialist for weekend and short-break bookings. End-customers on Weekendesk explicitly search for 1-3 night stays with inclusive packages (e.g. wellness, breakfast, dinner). A good fit for B&Bs and boutique hotels in tourist regions.

⚠️ Prerequisite: you already have a Weekendesk Hotel Manager account with your property registered. Apply via pro.weekendesk.com.

What do you need?

Step 1 — Look up your Property ID

  1. Log in at pro.weekendesk.com.
  2. Go to Settings → Property Info (or Paramètres → Informations propriété if your portal is in French).
  3. At the top you will see your Property ID (e.g. 1234567).
  4. Alternative: the ID is also found in the URL of your dashboard.

Step 2 — Enter the ID in BedFlow

  1. Settings → Integrations → Weekendesk tile → Settings.
  2. Paste the Property ID into "Weekendesk Property ID".
  3. Click Save.
  4. Click "Connect in Channex" — an inline modal opens inside BedFlow.

Step 3 — Complete the Channex modal

3 tabs:

Tab "General Settings"

  • Channel → "Weekendesk"
  • Title → "Weekendesk"
  • Currency → EUR
  • Click Save

Tab "Mapping" — mandatory

For each Weekendesk room type you choose which BedFlow rate plan is linked to it. Leave templates you do not use on "Not mapped".

Tab "Channel Settings"

Review and save.

Step 4 — Back in BedFlow

Click "Done — close and refresh status". BedFlow discovers + activates the channel automatically via API.

Step 5 — Weekendesk confirms

Weekendesk validates server-side, typically 24-48 hours. Check your inbox for a "channel manager activation" email from Weekendesk. After that, the status automatically flips to "Active".

Frequently asked questions

I see room templates in Weekendesk's extranet that I do not offer

Weekendesk templates are stored in their own database; we cannot delete them via Channex. Edit them directly in Weekendesk Hotel Manager, or email their support for cleanup. In Channex's Mapping tab: only map the templates you do use — the rest stays "Not mapped" and will not be queried.

What is the standard commission? ~17% (divisor 0.83). Comparable to Booking, lower than Expedia.

Does Weekendesk push packages (room + breakfast + wellness)? Not automatically. You manage your package rates in Weekendesk's Hotel Manager yourself — BedFlow pushes the base room rate. You can define packages on top of that rate in Weekendesk.

Which regions does Weekendesk serve? Primarily Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Luxembourg. Lighter presence in Spain, Italy, Germany.

When is Weekendesk worth it?

  • B&Bs and boutique hotels in tourist BE/NL/FR destinations
  • Properties with a strong wellness/dinner offering (matched search intent)
  • More suited to leisure than business
