WiFi — one place, plus a QR card to print

Why one place

WiFi used to live in two places: in the settings (where only the check-in email read it) and again as free text on the guest page. Change your password and you had to remember to update it everywhere — and most people forgot one.

WiFi now belongs to the property, just like your check-in times and breakfast hours. Whatever you enter there shows up everywhere:

• in the check-in email on arrival day;
• in the default content of the guest page;
• on the printable QR card.

What you enter

The QR card

Below the fields sits Download QR card (PDF). You get an A5 card with your logo, your brand colour, the QR code and, underneath, the network name and password written out in full. The instruction line is in four languages, because you never know which guest will be standing in front of it tomorrow.

Print it and hang it in the room: guests scan with the ordinary camera app and are on the network right away — no retyping a password full of capitals and dashes.

The code works on iPhone and Android without an extra app. Changed your password later? Update the field and download the card again.

Multiple properties

The details belong to a single property. With several properties, each one enters its own WiFi and gets its own card. One property's network never turns up at another.
