Connecting HRS to BedFlow
Settings → Integrations → Channels → HRS
HRS is the leading business travel channel in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). It is mainly useful for city and business hotels, less so for purely holiday accommodations. The flow is similar to Booking.com's.
Prerequisite: you already have an account in the HRS Partner Center with your accommodation registered. You apply via partner.hrs.com. In BedFlow you have at least one room with a base price.
What do you need?
| Item | Where to find it |
|---|---|
| HRS Hotel ID | A number, usually 9 digits (e.g. 850012345), in HRS Partner Center → Property Information |
| Login for partner.hrs.com | Your Partner Center account email and password |
Step 1 — Look up your Hotel ID
- Log in to partner.hrs.com.
- At the top of the page, next to the name of your accommodation, you'll find your Hotel ID (e.g.
850012345). - Alternatively: go to Property → Property Information — the Hotel ID is in the web address and at the top of the page.
Step 2 — Enter the ID in BedFlow
- Go to Settings → Integrations and click Settings on the HRS tile.
- Paste the number into the HRS Hotel ID field (section Channel connection).
- Click Save.
- Click Connect in Channex — the Channel connection window opens within BedFlow.
Is this your first channel? Then BedFlow puts your accommodation on the channel manager itself at that moment, with your room types and prices, and switches on HRS and all your active rooms so that you can link them in the next step.
Step 3 — Go through the connection window
The window shows the connection form of the channel manager Channex, with three tabs:
"General Settings" tab
- Channel → choose "HRS"
- Title → "HRS"
- Currency → EUR
- Click Save
"Mapping" tab — required
HRS has its own room categories. For each HRS room type, choose which BedFlow rate plan is linked to it. A room type without a mapping gets nothing from BedFlow. Not every HRS category has to be linked — only what matches what you offer.
"Channel Settings" tab
Check and save.
Step 4 — Back in BedFlow
At the bottom of the window, click Done — close and refresh status. BedFlow looks up the new connection and switches it on. The Onboarding status becomes Waiting for confirmation via the OTA extranet. If you forget that click, BedFlow links it automatically within a few minutes.
Step 5 — HRS confirms
HRS sends a confirmation email to your Partner Center account's address. Click the activation link and confirm in the portal — you're usually live within a day. After that, the status switches to Active — your channel is live by itself.
Finally, check the Room mapping in the same window: switch on Active for every room you want to offer on HRS and click Save. To add or relink a room later, use the Map rooms button.
Frequently asked questions
I see rooms in the HRS extranet that don't match what I offer. Those are HRS's own room templates. We can't delete them — HRS manages them itself. Adjust them in the HRS Partner Center, or ask their support for a new, clean onboarding. In the Mapping tab, leave the templates you don't offer on "Not mapped".
What is the default commission? About 15% (divisor 0.85). You adjust it in the tile's Commission section.
My accommodation isn't a typical business hotel. Is this worthwhile? That depends on your location. In German, Austrian and Swiss cities, a well-rated accommodation gets business bookings via HRS. In rural areas it's less relevant.
